Contributions made through the support links on Lions of Zion are received through Daniel’s account and used to fund the project’s expenses, according to the project owner’s clarification on September 8, 2026. Readers should not assume that these payments go directly into a bank account held in the nonprofit’s name. This explanation accompanies the existing Support Us page, whose wording has not been changed by this article.

The project and the registered association are distinct parts of the explanation. A registration certificate supplied by the owner identifies the association as HaArayot MiYehuda — LIONS OF JUDAH (R.A.), registration number 580815371, registered on April 7, 2025. That certificate documents registration on that date. It does not identify the recipient account behind a payment link or account for how contributions have been spent.

The certificate lists two principal purposes: positive advocacy for the people of Israel internationally, while maintaining political neutrality and avoiding direct political involvement; and assistance to disadvantaged populations in Israel affected by October 7, 2023, emphasizing lone soldiers and combatants. This is a summary of the registered purposes, not evidence that each advertised activity has been delivered or that a particular payment is restricted to a particular purpose.

What the payment pages show. The PayPal link displays Daniel LionsOFzion and a description focused on support for wounded soldiers and related recovery work. The Buy Me a Coffee page displays Daniel hanukayev - Lionsofzion and describes advocacy, content and tools, alongside support for soldiers and survivors. Both are external payment services. Their public descriptions identify the presented project and purpose; they are not an independent audit of spending.

The owner’s clarification supplies the missing distinction: the receiving route is Daniel’s account, and the stated use is project expenses. It does not provide an allocation among research, hosting, software, advocacy, rehabilitation or other activities. No audited breakdown or specific restricted-fund arrangement was supplied for this explanation. A reader should not infer that every contribution reaches an individual beneficiary, that all funds go to rehabilitation, or that all funds go to the editorial desk.
